Stooge Sessions

Service Description

A Stooge Session can be invaluable if you have a reactive dog. A fellow trainer meets us at a quiet field and we have 45 minutes of one on one time to really make some decent headway and build confidence not only in your dog but in your handling ability. We tend not to do a full hour as they are pretty heavy going for anxious dogs and we always strive to end on a positive. We have a number of stooges available, and more are being added! Available Stooge Dogs: Ernie is a 6 year old Irish setter. He has spent a lot of time around all types of dogs during my years as a dog walker and trainer. He is friendly, chilled out and patient so is a good influence on puppies, nervous dogs and dogs that need to understand not all dogs want to play. Wanda, at the time of posting, is a 9 month old German Shepherd Puppy. Her love for everyone and everything leads to her being bouncy, excitable and extremely friendly. She can bring out a playful side in some dogs, and help others to learn that high energy dogs are a good thing and nothing to be scared of. She is obviously still in training, but she's coming along in leaps and bounds (sometimes literally!). Ruby is a three year old quite dainty black working german shepherd. Her handler Drew is a superstar and phenomenal in his handling skills. I class Ruby as my matriarch as she is very clear with her body language and communication. She's wonderful at ignoring other dogs when necessary or helping them grow their confidence with very calm greetings. Drew however is an extremely busy human so sessions with him are extremely limited. Cancellation charges: 48 hours notice – No Charge. 24 hours notice – 25% Charge. Day of – 50% Charge. Less than 4 hours before – Full Charge.
